Shield 40 Magazines!

Since receiving my first Shield 40 last January, I've been trying to buy spare 7-round magazines. I've had "Sorry--they're back-ordered" emails from S&W, Midway, Cabellas, Brownell, and Greg Cote.

Last Friday I tried the 44Mag site:

They said they had more than 100 in stock, so I ordered four and waited for the "back-ordered" email to arrive.

Saturday my credit card was charged. Today I got a tracking number. The USPS has my mags and they're on the way to Texas.

The price was $2 more than anyone else, but after almost a year I'll gladly pay it.

the last time I ordered from 44mag , the product looked nice but it didn't function all ,so that was the last time I bought any mags from that company. I would tend to stay away from them but that is my bad experience with them, hopefully the items you ordered work out fine.

44 mag does not make these or any magazines for that matter. So that wouldn't be a reason not to buy from them. The reason NOT to buy from them is price gouging. They lost a lot of loyal customers when the big panic happened.

Where in Texas are you. I have purchased 4 spare 7 round mags for my 2 shields locally in San Antonio. 3 at gun show for 35 ea and one from a Place to Shoot for 39. Ive seen um several times since I got mine but 6 for 2 guns is good for me at the moment.

Here's a site to keep an eye on. I just bought (2) magazines from KYImports.com -- they were a tad high but nice to have a couple of spares. KYImports doesn't ship quickly but in the end, I got what I paid for...
