Shield 45

I bought my 45 two weeks ago...although I've shot lots of guns and calibers....I never shot the S&W Shield...nor a 45 pistol. Well today I got my chance....one big bang! The shield did just what I expected....good grip moderate recoil and good trigger. I going shooting again next Friday...how many rounds do you think before I carry?

I have put 100 rnds through mine, haven't gave me a reason for not to trust it, try different ammo including the one you are going to carry if it works fine as expected it should be ready.

I have 440 through each of mine at this point. I would trust either one of them for sure. Seems like they started to loosen up around 200-300. Feelin pretty good these days.

I put a little over 200 through it with some 230 gr Underwood and some 230 gr Federal HST and now it is my edc. Planning on going back to the range this week again so yeah it's a prefect edc, I also just order double mag pouch for it so with two 7 rds mag and a 6+1 in the gun work for me.
