Shield 9 Performance Center Model

I have been waiting since about Christmas for the Shield 9 Performance Center model. There are at least 5 gun shops in my area, and I have been checking with each of them weekly. None of them have any idea when they will be available. I am beginning to get tired of looking, and I am losing interest in the gun. I am thinking now that I might be better off getting a 9 Compact and changing the sights.

Hang in there! I ordered mine on December 2nd and just got it a week and a half ago. They are starting to ship now and it's worth the wait. The 40's have been available but the 9mm's are slow to the gate. I really like mine and it's a great shooter.

The trigger is slightly better but not much difference in felt recoil. The regular one suits me fine and I don't care to lose velocity from ported which could be 40fps.

Have both.......
I would suggest getting the regular one and adding TFX sights to it!!!!
I can not tell much difference in the trigger or the recoil between the two.

Bought mine a couple days ago. You can also order it on-line from Quantico Tactical. I've referred several people to them and they have them in stock. However you need to be retired or active LE, Military, or First Responder.

I'm glad to see the person who tested this gun liked it and except for the recoil. People who are worried about muzzle flash really should not worry about it according to this test. If it would have been a 9 the tester would have kept it.
