Anyone changed the rear sights on a EZ 9? I have a set of Truglo Tritium Pro sights and changed the front one with no problem, but not sure how the rear sight comes off. The new one has a threaded hole for a Allen screw, but not sure about the existing one. If there is a Allen screw, it has some type of cover over it. Does anyone know what I've ran into here? Is there a Allen screw? A cover? If so, how does said cover come off?

Thanks,

Bobby

I haven't messed with the sights on my wife's gun but I assume if you take the adjustment screw out the sight would come off.

Maybe I didn't word my question correctly, but I don't see a screw of any kind. I have all the tools and have changed several sights, but this one is different.

I may be wrong, but I thought the sight retaining/locking screw on the 380EZ and the 9EZ came up from the bottom of the slide.
Pages 37 & 38 in the manual.

Remove the slide, the allen screw for the rear sight is under the slide. Remove the screw and the sight will slide out of the dovetail.

Thanks. I did consider that earlier today, but hadn't had a chance to take a look at it. Thanks for confirming.

This morning I removed the slide and sure enough the Allen screw is from the bottom. When I loosened and removed the screw, the sight fell off. No resistance, no tool, just fell off. The new one went back in place just as easily and I've tightened the screw. I've never seen a sight this easy to change. The front one was a booger to get it to move, but pretty straight forward once it did with a sight pusher.

Thanks for the replies.
