In the market for a CC holster for the Shield, anyone have thoughts? Experience? Thanks.

Just kidding...

The Crossbreed Minituck is a great IWB. The Supertuck is great but pretty big.
The Blackhawk Askins is nice for OWB, and the Blackhawk Serpa paddle holster is nice for range use.

I just ordered my first real leather IWB so I can't comment on those yet.

I've tried a number of holsters and find the Remora to be the most comfortable, concealable, and versatile of the bunch for IWB. Second favorite is Pistol Wear Trump Card for shoulder carry when I need to tuck in. The Desantis Nemesis is good for coat pocket carry or back pocket of jeans. I tried a couple of kydex-leather IWB hybrids and did not care for those, although lots of people swear by them.

I bought a Theis IWB a while ago and think it's comfortable
after I broke it in. With warmer weather coming I just bought
a Remora and can't wait for it to show up. Good Luck

I use a Blackhawk Model 28 Askins Compact Concealed Carry holster for my M&P 40 Shield. It keeps the pistol high and tight to the body. It is comfortable to wear all day and provides a very easy draw (no straps, snaps or retention buttons). Nothing to remember or think about, just draw!

On the few occasions when I use an IWB holster, I resort to a simple Don Hume. It works!

I have tried probably a dozen holsters for various M&P's I own. When I got the Shield I was told by a friend to try n82tactical pro. I carry daily in my n82 with my shield and it's fantastic - very doubtful I will ever try anything else.

I have a current California CCW permit and I don't like driving with the 9mm Shield or for that matter any handgun in a belted or clipped IWB as it is very uncomfortable even with the empty holster still attached to me so to alleviate that feeling I tried a Remora 6ART-RFT beltless no clip holster. It's easy to bodily remove or replace in seconds and fits nicely between the seats while underway.
