You're asking what kind of belt I wear. Well it is a handmade heavy leather which is quite stiff and supportive. Also have a nylon one that is some kind of tactical something like tactical 5 or such that is also very stiff. I do understand the good belt thing. I wore the holster today with a little more cant and my son who also carries said that it was working very well for me. He also said at times he could see something, but did not think anyone who did not carry would have a clue. I was wearing a polo that was a little bit clingy. So I believe it is working for me. Please understand that I am not totally paranoid about carrying. I just want less people to know that I am carrying. Iowa does have open carry, but not many people do that. I haven't seen that yet around here. At this time I believe it would in some cases stir up a hornets nest. My opinion is that I don't want them to know. Just mho.

I totally understand your frustration Scrapmaster with alien, but I do feel I received a good holster. It is the black leather iwb I suppose the standard. It is comfortable. I figured it would come from Idaho, but it came from Arkansas. It does have the alien logo.

Hey I also feel I got a good holster- I never had issue with the product. I got the holster for my G23 and tried it out for 7 days or so and realized that while it was a big improvement to me, I really needed an EDC gun for CCW. Especially in the Florida summer. My G23/Alien Gear might be PERFECT for the fall and long pants/long shirts etc. and layers... we will see! - mine also came from Arkansas and I didn't like it. Alien Gear Holsters merged w/ Old Faithful Holsters a few weeks into my waiting period. As I understand it, they either had less waiting list or more capacity ,( or both) and so they took over production on a large portion of Alien Gear's outstanding orders. I sort of think it's another ridiculous example of them, I didn't order anything from Old Faithful and I feel like I might have got a "copy" of the real thing done by the other factory's people... but what are you gonna do right?

As far as the actual holster, I guess you and I got the same thing (other than mine being for the Glock ) - I ordered "the original" (as the 2.0 hadn't come out yet) Cloak Tuck IWB with the paid-upgrade to Black leather, and black metal clips (I didn't actually pay for them, I think they just gave them to me for free, so thanks? lol.) ... As I said, I like it a lot. I'd love one for the Shield but I am not going to wait. I'm going to go with the King Tuk by Galco or MAYBE a Crossbreed second if I spot one.
