Shield problem POI low and left

Wish I had a dollar every time I've heard; my new hand gun shoots low and left.

Why would you put up with sights that require you take a 6-9" artificial sight picture and hope for the best ?

Being a smart aleck here....with a touch of sarcasm thrown in for entertainment purposes.

I don't blame you for sending it back. Seeing as you are/were LEO I am sure you know how to shoot a handgun and if it shot low/left there has got to be something not right with the shield.

I think everybody has low left problems....just keep practicing.

It's not like I am an inexperienced shooter and after over 600 rounds of trying to find some goofy sight picture that would make this stinker work, I give up. Should not have wasted all that ammo ,,, should have gone back to the Factory after first 25 rounds.

I have a 40 Shield and same problem. How could I shoot all other guns, including my 44 mag and be that off to left? Read the banner advertisement it should help. My problem was not locking my elbows. As simple as that. After 500 rounds to the left, locked elbows today and now dead on. Boy that made me happy. Trigger will get better, grittiness and pull after a few hundred rounds. Hope this helps. Give it a try.

I had the same low left when I bought mine. I sent it back and they said everything was in spec. The more I shoot the more it gets to center.

If bench resting still gets you low and left then it could be the sights.

I had a similar issue with a G23 and I thought it was just me. It was consistently shooting too far left and just slightly low but I was shooting pretty tight groups. After bench resting I was able to confirm that indeed the sights needed to be adjusted. I kept adjusting the rear sight to the right and bench resting until I got it just right. I can now shoot it with the consistency and accuracy that I expect.
