Sometimes this happens. its not only the short mag its happened on the other mags too. Especially when your using a lower velocity ammo.

Dirty Blazer ammo? What? My Ruger SR9 loves Blazer ammo. Good clean ammo for me. Haven't seen any .22LR from Blazer locally though.

Well its been five years or more since I shot Blazer and back then it was really dirty stuff. Thats why I've not shot any of it since.

Interesting . . . I use CCI Blazer in 9mm and S&W .40 at the range for my handguns. It shoots quite well and clean for me. I never thought about running the said in my 22lr. guns.

After reading this post, I just ordered 1000 rounds of 40 gr. high speed Blazer. I'll test it in my other guns first and see how it works. When I get my 15-22, this Friday, I'll break it in with 40 gr. copper plated CCI Mini Mags.

Smart choice, good cheap ammo. I'm surprised it's never really mentioned. I bet they would sell more if they put CCI on the front of the box. I didn't even know the 2 were related until i read the fine print on the back. I wonder what the fps is? it doesn't say.

The Blazer ammo, which I just purchased, is packaged 50/box. I got them for $1.77/box at Midsouth Shooters.

A local place near me sells a Brick (500rds) of Blazer .22LR for $18. I've never shot it through my 15-22, but if it works well, I'll definitely be picking up some more. At $18/brick, its a no brainer!

I just hope it shoots well (for me)!
