Nah, just me. Went out to the FWC range this morning, first thing i had to do was apologize being off worn and not a veteran whilst all the RSO's but one are and working. The one old gruff Marine said "****, I'm retired 4 times, somebody gotta watch you desperadoes!" I proceeded to embarrass myself with my 10-22 and M4gery. At 100 yds I could have loaded My Mossberg 590 with a 3 1/2" #6 load and fired at the center of the shoot-n-see target, at least none were out of the 9 ring (there's only an 8 ring outside and that's a foot and a half across). 200 rds .22 and 100 of .223, I started packing up. Old Marine "You quit?" "Yeah' I'm not feeling it." "Thanks for using up all your pasters, almost a new target for the naxt guy." "That's why I quit, only used 3 orange ones."
Over to the pistol range. Much better. 6 magazines through the 6906, flawless as ever. I'm waiting for a failure so I can justify carrying something else. Shot Hp's, FMJ's some junk with black crud growing on it, ate everything. Put 70 rds through the Kahr P9, nary a hiccup. This gun has been flawless since the first shot. Got 2 more mags for it from a poster here so it's carry ready. Shot the "problem 642" I got cheap and outside the recoil punishment the Privi ammo gives, not a hiccup.
Speaking of recoil I shot the 4" 29-2 for the first time, full power loads. I could hit very well with it but a couple cylinders was enough. Those "Nframe Targets" ain't so much for shooting. People will stop shooting to check out the racket.
Speaking about stopping shooting, 2 guys and "tight jeans girl" were making me nervous with "selfies." She's jumping around "Ooh-Ooh" with her smart phone while the guys were spraying bullets. Old Marine tuned one guy up, he's totally into his phone and was told with "alacrity" to step out of the yellow box on cold range. "Dude, my bad." Tool.
Fired my 1st shot before 11 am and my last around 3, haven't been able to do that (weatherwise) around here since about April. Joe
