Shooting range in south Florida

"South Florida" is a pretty large area. Where I you going to be (City?) Most ranges I know of do not sell brass, there might be some that still allow you to pick it up but even that is difficult.

Hi Texcut,
I just got back from a couple of weeks in Ft Myers. While I was down there, I shot a IPSC/USPSA match at the Hansen range.
I doubt that they can help you with brass but everyone was very nice and easy to get along with.
They have a match schedule listed at www.swfps.com.
It is advertised as Punta Gorda but I think it is closer to Ft. Myers. It is about three miles west of 41 on Zemel rd.

There is a public range right there on Tuckers grade of I-75 Cecil Webb Wildlife.
Pay your $3 (cash) stuff it in the iron post and the range is just a little way down on the left.

well, if you are looking for an indoor range where you can rent firearms and buy ammo, i suggest you look in the phone book/yellow pages under "guns" or "shooting".
if you are looking for empty .45acp brass, they may have some for sale at a range, or you can try a store like cabellas that sells reloading and shooting equipment.
you can skip looking for anything in key west, i go there every year.

Here's where I used to shoot every weekend. Nice range and they have gun rentals. Did have a great selection of guns and accesorries. If you need 45 brass just reach to the top of the partitions and dig out as much as you want. It gets stuck up there by the thousands, literally!
