Shootout at the saloon in "Unforgiven"

Yep, I hear only 6 shots. Then he gets everyone else to run out by pointing an empty gun at them. Then he reloads...

One of my all time favorite quotes is from this movie. "It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. You take away all he has and all he's ever gonna have."

I'm surprised this statement made by Clint has not been mentioned, "A man's gotta know his limitations!".

I have found by personal experience as my birthday's have kinda started piling up on each other that this is not just a great line in a movie. It's the doggone truth!! Failure to do so will require a painful period of recovery!!

Kthom. I agree with you. It's my Motto, also. I don't drive after dark, don't drink hard stuff or chase the girls anymore but still shoot & reload. Guess going on 86 ain't bad. Sights a little fuzzy but come close once in a while. I'm reading Keith's book again on "Gun Notes". Good reading from long ago but still true today

Paul Newman in Hombre to Richard Boone: "I got one question. How you gonna get back down that hill?"
