Shot all these today..

29-2, 27-2, 25-2, 25-5 and pre 18.
What a pleasure to put a few rounds through each of these.
I definitely notice a difference in kick between a 8” and 4” 29.
I seemed to have the most control with the 45 ACP. I don’t know why that is. Maybe it would be different on a different day.
I really don’t get time to shoot much at all so I usually take several along.
Some of these, I may have only shot once or twice before.

Just an FOI, the serial number on your pre-18, is located on the bottom of the grip frame. Take the stocks off to see it.

Hoppes brush then snake through the bore and chambers.
Wipe down with Ballistol.
Should be ok.

While Hoppes and a proven CLP are always part of my "arsenal", Ballistol has long become my go-to for so many applications.

Does the snake work ok? I have a couple but have never tried them. How does once clean the snake after?

Enjoy the time you can get out to shoot, up this way with snow flying and 14 degrees, getting out to the range can be a real ordeal, lol !

With my Rheumatoid Arthritis I may clean one when I get home, usually my EDC. The others after breakfast and I usually get them done by lunch/nap time.

Most were 22s through the 18
I think maybe 12 rounds through the 25-5
Maybe 18 through the 25-2
12 44 Specials and 6 magnums through the 29
Maybe 18 38s and 12 357s through the 27
I’m guessing… but that’s ballpark
