Just brought home a set of feeler gauges and took some measurements. When I picked it up and didn't touch the cylinder, the .0015" gauge could barely slide through. It was dragging on the forcing cone and cylinder when I did get it in there, so I'll call that .0010". Same as when I pushed the cylinder forward. Pulling the cylinder back, I can get the .007" gauge in freely and easily. The .008" goes with some resistance. The .009" will not go at all. So I've got roughly .006-.007" of endplay. I ordered a 10 pack of .002" bearings which will be arriving Friday so I'll be fixing that soon. Thank you everyone for all the help!
