I am blessed with an overage of both and will be giving away all I can stuff into a small "If it fits.." USPS box.

The trouble is that the last couple times I did this, I got little response. Is it because you all think I'm running a scam or is there just not that much need for brass?

Anyway I made a poll that'll run through the weekend.

Thanks,

Alan aka Blujax01

Maybe not very many saw what you were trying to do, or just passed over the thread?
As far as what to give away, personally I'd say .40 (but I have a .40, so I'm kinda biased :D). Either way, 9mm or .40, whoever receives your gift of brass, I'm sure they would definitely appreciate it.
I know several people just getting into reloading/shooting and have had horrible times trying to get supplies and ammo, I gave a friend of mine a few hundred rounds of .223 to get him started (just got his first AR and couldn't get ammo).

Blu, I need neither. I only have one 9mm that I shoot so little it isn't worth buying the dies for. I have .40 brass and haven't even started loading for it yet. But I applaud you for your offer.

I therefore vote for 30-30.

I voted "nevermind" because there wasn't a "beer" option. Honestly, I haven't asked because I at least have a decent enough stash of both. For a while my range was littered with 9mm and .40SW was so prolific I was starting to swear moles must be shooting .40SW and pushing their brass to the surface from underground. So while I'm good I wouldn't want to take some that someone without could use. Maybe strangers that hardly post are embarrassed to ask for something from someone they don't know from Adam. Not that I'm your next door neighbor. That wasn't me looking in the window just now...

Voted for 9mm. It would always be welcomed...because it flies away and hides better than the rest.
That is pretty darn cool of you, Blujax!

I load neither 9mm or 40 S&W. All the 40's I find go to the 2 B-I-L's, nobody wants 9mm, I had about 3000 I couldn't give away. People are funny! Ivan

Very generous of you! I reload 9mm and these days it's hard to find any brass lying around at the range.

One vote here for the 9mm - I reload it, lead, berry's and fmj, whatever I can find. About half seem to bounce forward of the firing line and therefore out of bounds for pick-ups. I always pickup what I can.

Wow. I voted for 9mm. I have trouble finding any 9 to shoot. I have a friend that reloads however he usually dose not have much to spare. A gift like that would be like christmas making you Santa Claus.

I'd bet a lot of folks didn't see your previous offer. I didn't. Sharing is a good thing. If you have way more than you need, why not? It's a great thing to do. Kudos to you. :)
