Should S&W make 3913s again?

As said above by 18DAI - it's all about profit margin, and they must be making more off of the M&P line.

Popularity-wise, although the 3rd gen S&W's have a cult following, I don't think consumer demand is even close to the demand for polymer pistols away from gun forums and out at the gun shops.

I do wish they still made some of the 3rd gen models. A new 3914 (no rails please) would be sweet, and another 457 too.

I would love to be able to buy a NIB 3913. At a price I can afford, that is.

I would love to get a 'standard' 3913 with alloy frame and stainless slide.

A decocker version would be nice as well; I would buy that over the 'standard' safety model.

Mainly, I just WANT one, either with the standard safety, OR the decocker version.

Obviously, I voted to make them again. How can you not think it was quality made since it was an undercover police gun for decades, and now a popular civilian conceal carry auto. Once again, here's mine:
