Started this thread two years ago..
Wanted to see 2 1/2" & 3" K & L Frames..
Have since aquired a 3" CS-1/686 Round Butt..
Now I still want a snubby K Frame 19/66..
Thanks to everyone for all the pics & Keep em Coming..
I'll have a 4" 19-5 coming soon..

OK, I'll trade you my 2½" 686-1 for your CS-1.....
Combat grips before I cut them down and refinished them. I haven't taken pictures of those until I apply a finish.

Picked up this S&W model 66-2 today.

Here is my M66-6 2-1/2" with Hogue RB grips on it.
I has Hogue Bantam grips on it.
right now I load it with CCI .38spl 125gr JHP for the wife.
when i carry it I load it with CCI .357mag 158gr.JHP.
this gun was made in 2002 when they first started putting the locks in.
I did the gun a favor and removed the flag/lug part of the lock and the space left open next to the hammer is hardly noticeable.
Now I don't have to worry whether it will lock up by it's self or not.
it was easier to just leave the key part of the lock in the frame to fill the hole.
other wise the gun is a very good shooter and just as reliable as my pre-lock guns.
