Show us your nasty Hat!

My current yardwork hat. At one time it was a uniform olive color. Now it's... not. It was still damp from this morning and felt disgusting to pick up, and I'm the one who wears it.

And one more year later. It seems to have stabilized - apparently there is only so much dirt and sweat that it can hold. I guess now it's just a matter of wear.

This is the cap I wore back in the 70s and 80s when I was shooting a lot of NRA hunter pistol and small bore hunter pistol silhouette. IMG_0604.jpg

My old skanky fishing hat. Most of my old skanky hats get relegated to lawn cutting hats and I go through 3 or 4 a year that get knocked off and under the finish mower on the back of the tractor.

I've had this hat for quite a few years now, take it on most vacations. The pins are from various countries we've visited and the hat is from my favorite place on earth.

My dear wife bought this sho' nuff Stetson for me for our second anniversary. Spuds Mackenzie and the band went on when it was new.

She made me quit wearing "that old thing" some years ago & got me a nice, shiny new bright white Stetson that I never really warmed to.

I recently came across it hidden in a closet. It's now my go to. ;)

The hat continues. Here it is for 2017. As noted last year it seems to have stabilized and looks little changed, although I've been wearing it pretty regular and soaking it with sweat until it drips.
