All right people. It's probably been done before but how
about pictures of your favorite "rimfire" rifles.
The fun gun you take to the range or to hunt with.
The older i get the more i appreciate the reduced recoil
and minimal expense when shooting these little beauties.
I'll start, here's 4 i have handy as they we're out of the
safe being cleaned after a day of shooting.
Top to bottom CZ 452 in .17 rimfire--Winchester model 74
autoloader in like new condition. Browning BL 22 lever action,
and the ever trusty (everyone has to have one), Ruger 10/22.

Dads 61 winchester with a octogon barrel in .22 long rifle

Winchester 1890 converted from .22 WRF to .22 WMRF, also has been pistol gripped with a longer stock with a cheek piece.

Winchester 63 .22 long rifle that was made right at the end of production 1957. Somehow I bought it new in the box with the hanging tags about 20 years after it was made!

Here's mine. A multi-year project.

This started as a Winchester Mod. 52C target rifle in near new condition. I had the barrel cut back to 22 inches and a 11 degree bench rest crown applied. Then the custom stock was made.

More recently I bought the Liberty Essence suppressor. Liberty did the necessary threading to the front of the barrel without any disturbance to the crown. The suppressor is titanium and a scant 4 ounces. At 6" length it takes the barrel back out to its original 28" overall length.

The scope is a Leupold VX3 3.5-10 50mm EFR.

The rifle is deadly accurate and quieter than an air rifle with subsonic ammo.

As for the target, I purposely moved the point of impact away from the very center so I could maintain a consistent aiming picture. That's why the group is low left.

Have a hand full of target 22's. couple of model 52's, savage model 19's, Remington model 37 and several more. These are all tack drivers!!

gjamison-You have some beauties there! I really like .22s!:)
Here are a couple I am fond of for various reasons.
The first is a Remington 34P with a Wollensac scope. The next is a Winchester 75 Sporter with a Noske mount and a Lyman Alaskan scope. Everything on the 75 I believe is about 1939-40.

My meager collection of "boys rifles", single shot .22's.
Every barn in the land had one hanging from a nail to kill rats, squirells, pigeons, etc. when I was a kid.
Two Stevens Favorites top, a Stevens Marksman.
Then my jewels, all three versions of the Remington #4 rolling block, knob takedown, lever takedown and solid frame. A Belgian parlour gun at the bottom.

Ok, you got my attention....rimfires I love. Here are a few of my favorites.
