Here's one of mine: a 2002 Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Venture. Ridden it from Ohio to California to pick up the Run For The Wall, ran the whole way with them to Washington DC, then home to Ohio twice. No better way to see the USA than the saddle of a big two wheeler!

I believe I remember you - do you remember me? I was the Tailgunner for #5 (Big Ed's Platoon) in 2012; in 2006 I was the Assistant Platoon Leader of #1 for Hammer.

No, I didn't join you for dinner JJ. In 2012, I rode in with Pastor Dan, who has served as a Chaplin - do you know him? I've known Dan for 20 years; it was he who introduced me to RFTW. I usually had dinner with him. I'm also close to Tom (The Kid) & Toni Schultz, Dave Gardner (used to run on the fuel crew), Honeybuns - but he ran Southern in '12, there's a few more. Ed's a good guy, please tell him I said hello. During the '12 run, Grizz asked me if I would want to try running with the RGs. I really wanted to, but wouldn't abandon Ed in the middle of the run - I just wouldn't have felt right doing that. Still hope to do RFTW a few more times. God Bless you & stay safe! I'll be in DC, riding in on Saturday with a group from SW Pa. Maybe I'll see you then!
