Some of you may have noted my mentioning (ad naseum) in the past about how someday I was going to get a 952 (preferably a 952-1), that it was at the top of my Want List, that someday one would be mine blah, blah, blah...

Well, that day finally arrived a few weeks back.

It's a New-In-Box, pristine 952-1, complete with alumimum PC case, papers, manual, etc. -- even the original cardboard box. It was bought new by the previous owner, a gentleman who was far more a collector than shooter. The gun sat in his safe for years unfired and, due to my own time constraints, remains that way to this day...but that'll be changing soon enough! I'll be sure to update this thread when I have a few range-time comments.

While I haven't had a chance yet to get it to the range, I did take a few moments today to finally get a shot of it for bragging rights.

(BTW, thanks go to forum member Grinder for his help in my search over the last year or so. While I may have found this particular one on my own, it was nice to know he was keeping an additional eye on used gun listings.)

Nice!!!

I'm normally a stainless guy, but for a while was thinkin of gettin one of those. I could'nt help but like the looks of em in blue.

I debated stainless vs. blue for quite a while, but ended up choosing the blue dash-one model as I slightly preferred the dash-one (and I have a stainless 945). They're both very attractive guns, to be sure...it wasn't an easy decision.

The best choice would have been "both"

congrats

I bought a 952-1, then they came out with the dash-2 in stainless, and I thought - nice but I already have a 952. So far so good, but then they came up with that dreaded long slide and I couldn't resist. The plan was to get the long slide then sell the dash-one, sometimes plans just don't work out.

Oh my, don't tell me that -- I had the same problem with 945s!

I've had this problem with other guns, just not to quite the same extent.
Enjoy the 952-1.
How far does your eject cases?
Mine just barely tosses them out and since I'm a leftie that means they often hit my right arm and occasionally burn.

I wish I could tell you -- but I havent' had a chance yet to get it to the range. I'm hoping next week. Once I do, I'll update this thread with that info. I hope it's more than what you describe...that sounds rather weak. Think you might need a new recoil and/or extractor spring?
