SIG Hämmerli P240

I had one years ago when I was an active ISU target shooter. Mine was SN P200116 and it was a great shooting target gun. Better than me. I was a lousy slow fire shooter, but with this gun I managed a 99 on an indoor 50 foot target. Only once, but I was impressed.

Just a note on this old thread, one of the local gun shops near me has one of these and he says S&W model 52 mags fit these pistols.

I'm on this forum as of today. I live in Croatia. I own a shooting range, I'm a sports shooting coach.
I have 4 sig p240s in 38WC, and two more in all three calibers.
I was a Croatian champion in large caliber pistols and revolvers several times.
I also have a lot of European weapons, mostly very expensive pistols and revolvers, a lot of S&W revolvers, I also have two S&W M52-2 38WC
I also have a (Ransom Rest) and I intend to test the sig P240 and compare it to the S&W M52-2
I'm starting a new youtube channel soon..the topic will be a homemade machine that I make for casting bullets.
Pressing pistol bullets, and many other things related to precision shooting with pistols and revolvers.
sorry for my bad English. I hope we can hang out and exchange experiences.

Hi!
Do you happen to have a 9mm kit for P240 made by Peters Stahl? I have one myself, but I've lost a very small part from the kit, probably small spring, keeping barrel-slide lock in place. I'm trying to find someone who could take a picture of the missing part for me.
Thank you!

In the meantime I bought three more SIG P240s, I have them all in 38WC, I have a conversion kit, two in 32S&W long and three in 22lr. I'm getting a SigSaure p210 6" supertarget in a few weeks.
The conversion kit for the P240 was made in a very small series, unfortunately I don't have it. But there were a lot of problems with the 9mm Luger, because the barrel lock is very small. It is preferable to shoot with hand-loaded ammunition with much less pressure and less bullet weight.
I also have several PeterStahl 6", 9mm and 45ACP
I have worked a lot with weapons and if you send me pictures, maybe I can find a solution, make a part. and maybe I can get a part in Germany
I have never had a P240 in 9mm in my hands,

Hi!
I took some pictures of the slide. There was something in the small cylindrical hole that goes all the way through and keeps in place breech lock lever. It was probably some kind of spring. But I don't understand how it was held in place, since I can't see any threads, notches, or anything similar.
Thank you.

First time I see this.I understood what it was.I think it was just a loaded bar of the same dimensions as you drew. That rod is only 0.01mm thicker than the hole and was stuck in the hole but fell out and disappeared. You can make one piece and put the fuse on the other side like in the pictures I send you.The rifle will definitely work, no danger, but you won't have the shutter stop function. If it were in my hands now, I would find the right solution. This is just an improvisation with a seger fuse. Some rifles do not have a bolt stop.Do you have the slide stop from that 9mm conversion? If you have some pictures please, maybe I can make a sketch of exactly what the missing part should look like.
