I'm going to be in the market for a new handgun. The Sig P365 is a contender. The grip is a little smaller than I like (length). I tried the XL too, but it's a little larger than I want. Compact is what I am looking for. Any P365 owners have extended base plates on your Dog? Where did you get them? Please post pics of your P365 with extended magazines.

I found pics. I think he 12 rounders will make the P365 fit my hand perfectly. Looks like you can just get the base plates....if you can find them in stock.

I hope these help. This is the 12 rd. magazine and my little finger does not hang off the magazine.

Well you can always by a 40 dollar XL grip frame and put it on your short p365 ! And some mags of course . Watch the video below -

Saw that! Thanks for sharing. I wish I would have seen this BEFORE I purchased my 365XL. Would have been a tempting option. Just now received the extended base plate for my 365XL mag from Tactical Defense. The slight difference in length plus the slight upward curve creates absolute perfection. Hand now fits like a glove. Now I'm doubting it I will need the Hougue grip sleeve????

the Hogue grip sleeve just snugs the 365 into my hand perfectly, and since I only carry either AWIB (have manual safety on mine) or OWB, always carry with 12 round mags. Would not reccomend it for pocket carry, however, might hinder a smooth pull.

otis24 I have zero interest in a wittle bitty p365 . Just to small for me as a proper iwb pistol and pocket carry has to many real world limits like drawing while seated and the XL grip module make its a iwb carry only . The slightly long barrel of the XL aids in keeping the butt end and grip tighter to your body in a good holkster and aids in a higher carry position and a longer sight radius .. Guess I ranting now !!

I have a P365 and like the regular flat magazine floor plate as I do pocket carry often and the extended or "pinky piece" adds to size and makes pocket carry harder. It basically all comes down to how you will carry it. If you will be OWB carrying, the extended magazine plate is not really an issue. It also depends on the size of your mitts.

Because the P365 does so incredibly well handling recoil, the small 10 round magazine flat floor-plate is the ticket for me. I traded the pinky extension away for one that is flat. Both my friend and I are both now happier. :)

I like the flat 10 round base plate too.

I have 6 10 round mags and 4 have the pinky extension. Looked everywhere for the flat base plate.

Found some made of aluminum, and these that are plastic. Not sure I want to pay that much for a flat base plate thou.
