My Sig P 365 was manufactured on May 21, 2018. It has 400 rounds through it (all Remington factory 115 gr. FMJ). The trigger has smoothed out quite a bit and the slide/ frame also feels smoother. That being said, my Kahr CM-9 has a much smoother trigger pull albeit much, much longer. I cleaned and lubed the pistol before the first round was fired. The trigger pull weight is under 8 lbs. There has been no malfunction, nor signs of excessive wear. Three other shooters have fired the pistol and were favorably impressed. There is a significant "wipe" on the spent primers of the cartridges. This last 200 rounds showed less "wipe" on many of the spent primers than the first 200 rounds. In the photo below, most of them look more like the spent primer on the left and none show the extreme wipe of the spent primer on the right. There are no scratch or wear marks on the magazines, as reported elsewhere. The pistol is very controllable for being so small. Doing drills, such as firing 2 shots in 1 second at 7 yards from the low ready position isn't difficult and the pistol doesn't shift, even with the flush magazine, in my medium sized hand. I don't use the popular both thumbs forward grip. I use a full grip with thumb low and gripping with the strong hand and the off-hand supporting.

It's interesting to hear you say that, Mike. I have found the "thumbs forward" grip creates problems for me when shooting small guns. I'm seriously thinking of going over to the "Front Sight" grip like you describe for all my pistol shooting.

Both my wife and I recently purchased the Sig P-365. So far I have shot 150 rounds of various ammunition with no issues. My wife has almost 500 rounds through hers, again with no issues. Both are surprisingly very accurate and the recoil seems much less that our previous Shields. Mine fits my LC-9 holster so that solved the new holster issue. After another 200 rounds or so it will replace my LC-9 as my summer EDC. My winter gun will still be my M&P 45c, but I could carry the 365 is a BUG in my pocket. It's basically the same size as my 642 J-frame, but with double the round count. Trigger pull on my 365 is 5.5-6 pounds; trigger pull on my 642 is 10 pounds. The Sig is 100 times faster to reload.

Yes, I have read all of the "problems" listed in some of the forums, so I will pay attention to the issues mentioned, but so far both of ours have been flawless. When I bought my Shield years ago it had both FTF and FTE problems and had to go back to S&W the first week I owned it, so no gun is immune to problems.

I, too have both a LC9 and the Sig P365, although my LC9 is the striker version. The 365 does fit very well in my LC9s holsters.

I shoot both equally well, the LC9s has a trigger that is a bit lighter and I have more than 2300 trouble free rounds thru it.

The Sig is smaller, has less recoil and way better sights. The extra capacity has move it into my daily carry position. I have about 400 trouble free rounds thru it.

I've seen internet talk that May production pistols have modified MIM firing pins/ strikers. Also modified trigger return springs and different grip modules, as well as, a few other more minor changes that I can't remember. I feel much more confident in my example. That being said, I'd like to put a few hundred more rounds (so far, only 400) through my May, 18 produced pistol before I carry it.
