Have any of you removed this sight? I'm thinking of something different for my 37-2.

That's a high dollar night sight. If you do remove it, do so carefully. It has a tritium vial inside that can be broken. If handled with care, it can be sold or used on another gun.

If you can determine the brand, call them and ask how it's installed for that firearm. There might be a hidden pin......or maybe epoxy.

Thank you. Not sure what it is but it doesn't glow in the dark & the white dot disappears in the sunlight. And for me, it doesn't work with the rear notch.

It must be a custom job as the original has an integral FS. Usually such a sight would be pinned in but there's no sign of a cross pin. Is there perhaps a set screw inserted longitudinally from the muzzle end? Otherwise I guess it could be epoxied or Loctited in, which would require the application of heat to release.

Whatever you replace it with will also have to be a custom install. I suppose the tritium vial could be removed and the hole filled with a pin and re-blackened, or a brass/gold pin put in. This may not solve the "doesn't work with the rear notch" problem, though.
