Anyone have any experience with these as an alternative to a C.O.R.E MP for those of us who don't want to buy another MP?

I'd say your best bet is to have the slide milled to fit the optic you'd like to drop in. This provides a secure fit as well as getting the optic as low to the boar axis as possible.
