Sigma 9mm or .40SW?

Which caliber would you recommend?

40S&W I like the bigger holes it makes. When I really want to burn lead I reach for my Ruger MKII in 22 LR.

This afternoon I went and bought my Sigma 40VE. When I got home I shot two clips and I must say I love the gun.

Being a handgun novice I never noticed the trigger which I've read so much about.

I shot ok as I grouped my shots "relativly" well at 10 and 20 yards. I know I'm going to have more and more fun as I get to know it that much better.

DD I think the more you shoot this pistol the more you will like it , I know I do my SW40VE !

I will be picking up my SW40VE this friday and off to the range on sat. I really am looking forward to it after reading all the posts!!

You were 100% correct in your statement. The more I've shot my SW40VE, the more I love it.

What a gun!!!

love my sigma 9mm. only 150 rounds through it but not a problem with varying grains. great price, seems like a great value. my wife really likes it, she may choose one for herself.

Now I just have to keep ammo for it at a reasonable price when I can find any !

I own a sigma 4 s&w. For those who do not care for the heavy trigger pull, i recommend changing the striker spring. Wolf spring company sells such a spring for the sigma. The trigger pull on my 40VE went from well over 9 lbs. to 5.5 pounds.
As far as the original question....quite obvious. If you want economy in shooting, go for the 9, if power is your priority, then 40 is your choice.
