SIGMA Opinions?

I had some extraction problems with my used SW40VE. S&W fixed this at no charge, and pistol now works great. As much as I like - and own four - Glocks, the Sigma feels much more natural in the hand. Cheers

What hurts your finger is trying to load those last cpl rounds in the mag. Thats why I got a UpLULA speed loader.

Big second vote for that. I finally got an UpLULA the other day. I stripped a Sigma .40 mag empty and reloaded it (after figuring out how the loader works; which was pretty easy) as fast as I could grab rounds out of the box.

Then, I grabbed a mag for my Springfield XDm .45, slipped the UpLULA on it and loaded it full of .45 as fast as I could grab that ammo.

No changes needed for the UpLULA to switch between different manufacturers and calibers.

This is a MUST have for your range bag. Especially nice if you have multiple guns in diff calibers from diff manufacturers.

I have a 9VE and I like it alot. I have even shot a couple of IDPA matches with it. It serves a useful role along side of it's stable mates here.

Let them make fun of you all they want. You'll be having fun with your sigma for a long time to come! ;)

Welcome to the forum!

Another thumbs up for the Sigma

I have a 9mm and it has always proved to be completely reliable and fun to shoot.

As an added 'bonus' this is the pistol I use when teaching friends to shoot. They concentrate on a good sight picture, the pistol points very well, and, the tougher trigger pull teaches good behaviors in the beginning.

I LOVE my M&P .45, but I really like the Sigma and would not have any issues (nor do I have any issues) CCW.

For the money the Sigma is a great gun, dont buy into all teh gun snob BS out there. I have had zero problems with my Sigma. Most people bash them just to bash them. I bought a few Hi-points just because everyone was bashing them, they have all shot very well once you break them in.

Honestly id say most people online who bash everything that isnt an AR, Glock, or XD have zero experience with teh firearm they are bashing if they even own a firearm.

Sure i get some looks when I pull out my Sigma and i really get some looks when I pull out my Hi-point but after i knock the center out most come over to ask if they could fire off a mag.

I have seen all brands of guns fail be it Sigs, double star, hell i have seen a $2500 custom Dan Weson that was reduced to a single shot all guns will see some FTFs.

would i trust my life with my Sigma yes would i caryy it no only because i have other firearms that better fit that role

2000 rounds through my SW9VE and perfromance is fantastic. Accurate and reliable. I'm very happy with it. Hitting the range this weekend. :D
