Does anybody know where or if there is a place like Galloway Precision that sells a solid hardened or tool steel firing pin for the Sigma. The only reason i mention Galloway is because they sell one for the Bodyguard. Mine didnt break, but Im a big fan of making this gun more reliable any way i can. I know, if it aint broke dont fix it, but if that was the case for everything then there would be no such thing as aftermarket. Or if there isnt such a place on the internet, does someone know of a machine shop that has made them. thanks in advance!

i guess i should restate my goal... i cant leave anything alone, including my cars. If theres something better, i want it. I already have the apex trigger and spring kit and galloway 20# guide rod and spring and take down lever. Tru Glo TFO sights are ordered and ill be shipping pretty much the whole gun into wmd for the nickel boron coating. BUT, i wanted to find a firing pin that was more solid than the one that comes in it. I understand these guns are budget guns and im dumping money and "why didnt you just buy a glock", well i dont want a glock and id still do the same thing if i did, modify the hell out of it.

Nobody?... I read a post on this forum awhile back about some forum member on here that made a few for his sigma or sd but I can't seem to find it

I think the firing pin probably has the failure rate of a cinder block...
Whereas the trigger type and pull could be modified, grip and fit can be... the firing pin has one job. Make it go boom. I think it's to the point where it's such a low failure rate...why bother make a part no one will need or buy?

I'm with you on modify just because, but there are places I draw the line as well...:)

True, and I am thinking of sending in the striker as well to wmd, and I don't dry fire my guns, but there are numerous posts on this forum and others about the Sigma strikers breaking from dry firing, about the only time I dry fire is to release the tension on the striker spring when I store it. I get what your getting at but bottom line these are inferior strikers to others including the m&p's, they definitely aren't cinder block tough, and every part in these guns has 1 job, not just the striker, they all serve the same goal, like you said... To make the gun go boom. I'm getting way of topic and everybody's entitled to an opinion

I just asked a simple question if anybody on this forum knew of an aftermarket striker that was able to be purchased or am I gunna have to see if someone had/can make one.
