I have a Sigma SW9VE, I've had it for a couple years now and never had any problems, fired a couple thousand good rounds through it. The other day I grabbed the firearm to store it and there was a round in the chamber, as always, so I dropped the magazine, and tried to move the slide to eject the round. The slide is stuck about an eigth of an inch from the firing position with a Golden Saber stuck in the chamber, has anyone had any problems like this and does anyone know any possible fixes?

I assume the slide will not come off? If it does be very careful with the live round in there! It sounds like the extractor is messed up. I hope someone replys soon as I would like to know whats causing the lockup.

I had that problem when the chambered round had a miscasted bullet and the slide was stuck because it didn't go to battery. What I did was I used the rubber mallet out in my back yard and tapped the slide closed enough to free it.
