First post on forum, I have been lurking about reading and first
want to thank all the individuals who post on this forum for the vast knowledge of sigma and other pistols. I just bought a s&w
sw9e at a local gun show in Memphis in march. I LOVE it!!!!! The sigma is not my first pistol, a llama omni 9mm had that distinction. I think the sigma is a great pistol for the price no matter what your needs. Since march I have put 250 rounds down range without a single problem!!!! My wife who had never shot a pistol before came along as well as her friend who brought her new ruger .380 lcp. My wife first shot my sigma after a short how to and safety instructions. Remember she has never shot a pistol before I loaded two 10 rd mags for her and told her to go at it. At fifteen feet she put all twenty shots on the paper!!!!And not only that but she also had three double taps within the center black!!! ( I'll post pics as soon as I can get to my computer) but as for the trigger it's not bad can't really complain with a great price tag like 279.00 plus rebate I'll take the two 16 rd mags
I mean if my short 4'11" wife can handle the pull a grown man should be able to. Well I wanted to make my first post and say hello.
Like I said been reading alot here and happy to find folks who appreciate the sigma for what it is a good looking, reliable weapon. More to come thanks to a great community of owners
I am a 63 year old who also loves my Sigma SW9VE as it comes out of the box. The best part of your whole post was, "I mean if my short 4'11" wife can handle the pull a grown man should be able to." That one statement says a lot about all the ways all the young bucks here are always trying to ruduce the trigger pull. "If you have it, learn to shoot it. S&W built it that way for a purpose." I shoot very accurate with mine. Don't let a 4'11" wife beat you young bucks to the draw.
