So I headed out to the range today with my cosmetically challenged 10-6 and my 6" 28-2. I was dropping the steel plates with my 38 reloads thru the 10 while struggling to do the same with 357s in the 28. I do have a bit of a flinch with the 357 truth be told - but you can definitely tell when the 357 connects with a plate! I wouldn't trade either gun but sometimes the "simple" solution is the best...

You just need more practice. Use those .38 loads in your M28 and then gradually increase the .38 loads. Make sure you have good ear protection.
