Simple Weapon Solutions Billet Ambidextrous Charging Handle

Are you just making some more latches or possibly the whole handle? The handle edges look great with the small grooves cut in them and the latch looks right at home in there. I just got my rifle so I am no expert but it would make a nice first upgrade. I'd even buy it shiny :D

Did I mention shut up and take my money? :P

If you could replicate the size of a BCM GunFighter Mod 5 latch, that would be nice.

I do accept blank checks :D

I have been think about several different latch options and something along the lines a GunFighter latch might be in the works.

Yeah, and I want a 15-22 version of my Raptor AR charging handle. Now those bad boys are ambidextrous.

Believe me, I have been thinking about that since I became a dealer for them. They are freaking nice!

What about a Rainer Arms ... Raptor style.... That's different.... I'll love to have one of those on my .22 rig...... Just some food for thought...

I will be talking to Rainier about this, I'm a dealer for the Raptor. But I imagine it will take time.

Right now I am going to be focusing on latches and then work my way into releasing my own handle in the mean time.

Sorry for the late response.

I am still working on coming up with something with Rainier, but that is still a bit a ways off. I just emailed the shop that is doing the shields for the brass deflectors and the ambi latch pictured in this thread. When I talked with the shop before xmas he had the shields cut out and the latches done. So I am just waiting for the shields to be bent.

I also have a few other latch designs that will be machined for testing very soon along with a second ambi latch design.

That is a good point. I don't use any kind of optic. I have a Primary Arms micro dot, but I prefer to stick with my iron sights. I'm used to using my thumb and forefinger without issue.

But with all of the different types of red dots and scopes out there, I could see how it would interfere with a standard size latch. Perhaps having multiple latch size options would be a good idea.

Anything new or going on with these ? The rear of my scope sits right above and slightly behind my buis. It's a bit of a tight grab. It's also the same problem with the larger Sporting Rifles. I hate the thought of using higher risers.

So ready to put one of these on my sbr. :)

This is exactly what I was looking for.

I think it's awesome and when you put it into production along with the brass deflector you need to do a package price for all the parts for the 15-22 you make. I'd be in for one of everything that way.

ik its a difficult task but if you could design and produce a charging handle with a design similar to the rainier arms ambi charg handle, for less then 60, m aybe 70, I would be interested
