Other than the MOE 15-22 is there any way to put a single point sling on the 15-22?

Those look like they would work. But if you put those on would you still be able to lock the folding stock all the way to its shortest postion?

Looks to me like it will only allow you to get the stock to the 2nd locking position.

There's some pictures of them in the picture thread. You lose the ability to lock the stock into its very first spot but the 2nd-6th spot will stay open.

If you have your stock expanded, do these style adapters slide up and down the buffer tube or are they held firm by a set screw or something else?

They appear to be side pressure grip. they slide on over the "buffer tube" and then tighten down to it with the screws on the sides of them. Kinda like how the sights are attached, just with pressure

The collar is split at the bottom and the cap head Allen bolt squeezes the two halves together tightening around the buffer tube.

It doesn't say anywhere that the inside diameter is optimized for commercial or mil spec buffer tubes.

That takes some balls, Shawn. I'd be worried the thin polymer area towards the stock would chip out and leave a nasty looking gouge. They came out great though!

It's the same place that the MOE edition has its cups mounted. I had my brother's MOE right there to match up with. Besides, what's the worst that can happen? I mess it up and have to send it to S&W for a new lower. I'm happy with how it came out.
