Vikes could end up having a perty good season, dere.
Might be a fan but I would never bet $1 on them.
If they win the next game I can't imagine what Mpls will be like Super Bowl Weekend. If I recall correctly no team has ever played a Super Bowl in their home stadium.
Yes, but technically, they would be the visitors. AFC is the home team.
What's the reasoning for that?

It just alternates from year to year, and this is the AFC’s year to be the home team.

No matter how great Marcus Williams' career is in the future, I'm afraid he's going to have a pretty tough time livin' that one down.
Kinda like Roy "Wrong Way" Riegels in the 1929 Rose Bowl. Few remember that Riegels was an All-American.
Go vikings!

Hard to root for the Vikings being a Packer fan, but dang they do play well. And to do that with their 3rd QB (when we showed how important solid backup(s) can be when we didnt have even 1 lol), well my hat's off to them.
Kinda hoping their successes this year (wherever they end up at) show the GB powers-that-be what a team can do with a great defense.

I really should thank Bud Grant and those brave folks who fearlessly donned the Purple to replace THE DEFENCE WHICH MISSED THE CHARTER TO CALIFORNIA back in January 1977. I was SO certain those showoffs from Haight-Ashbury-Berkley would be put in their place. Well it was the first and last time I made a significant wager on a sporting event. You taught me not to gamble.
Slow learner? I learned not to bet, especially on the Vikings in either '74 or '75.
