Slide cover plate

Does anyone know if anybody makes an aftermarket s&w sigma slide cover plate?
I have run into a wall finding anything on the web.

Something wrong with the existing one? Of all the parts I hear of people unnecessarily replacing on S&W models, the slide cover plate is not one mentioned very often. If there is a problem, you could order one from S&W.

I imagine he wants a custom one, like you can order for Glocks...with a design, logo, etc. I've never seen any made for S&W polymers...there may be some, but I've never encountered any.

I guess if you want to dress up your gun like a Barbie doll, you need to get a Glock...

J/K...I have ordered those in the past for the Glocks I have owned...just a bit of personalization to make it stand out from the masses of other ones that are just alike.

The Sigma 40 I have was very used when I got it. I have since put in a Galloway kit which brought the pull down to right about 6 pounds. I polished the slide and barrel and what I could inside. I replaced the sights with Meprolight Night Sights and would like to replace the slide cover because it is chewed up. It's like remodeling, you want everything to look new.

About 3/4's of the way down the parts list page is where the sigma model's start.

Find your model, scroll down to # 23 slide end cap assembly, get the part # should be 250840000.

Call or email S&W customer service and see if they can get you it.

Maybe the only diff. is the color ?

Maybe somebody changed it out already and it was originally gray.

According to the parts list the v and ve models came with gray colored ones.

Call or email and find out.

Paint is an option to, they make a good plastic paint now.

Fusion I believe it's called by krylon, not sure.

Nobody knows because the yo ho's at S&W don't have a parts list printed yet.

Unless you have the said gun an a SDVE model to try it.

The sd cover will fit the sve ibboght on from amazon becauee the pics showed a good possibility. If you're looking for a custom slide cover this is it.
