Hello all. My wife's dad just passed and we inherited a 32-20 revolver purchased as a prison guard pistol by his father. I figured this was where to start for identification. Can anyone direct me to the proper forum?

It is almost certainly a .32-20 Hand Ejector from between 1899 and the 1930 decade.
