Sling help

With my pretty much stock 15-22 will this 3 point work?

Should work, but "why?" All slings suck. 3-point slings really suck as you're wearing the rifle.

Two point are more convenient. Single point are ball-busters. Literally, just try to run with one and not use your hands to hold the rifle.

A normal two-point is simple and works very well:

Agreed, I like the 2 point sling ... so do my balls.

bonedog, I'm no slingologist but from what I can tell the link you posted should work with the OEM 15-22 butt stock ("... designed to fit standard Mil-Spec collapsible buttstocks ..."). Looks like you might need a sling mount on the barrel though. I have 2 QD points for it when I'm going commando.

Go with a Midwest Industries end plate adapter. Then spend the money for a Magpul MS2 sling and a Magpul RSA. Then you have the option to run a single point sling or a standard sling. If you want pics message me & I can send later.

But why a sling?

Has something been lost in the art of shooting well!
A sling is not merely something used to carry your rifle with minimum effort.

It’s one of the most useful accuracy aids ever devised. With a properly adjusted sling your shooting will be almost as steady as from a bench rest.

The proper slings to use as aids to accuracy are the U.S. military M1907 sling (or a copy thereof) or the U.S. G.I. web sling (cotton version).

Leave the single points to the pro's. Buy a 2 point and learn how to use it!
