Smith and wesson model 66

I purchased a mint model 66 the other day and it has 66-2 stamped over 1. Does it make it worth more, less or the same? seems like i have heard of this before, but not sure! Thanks tpdbadge

Alas, an overstrike model marking isn't rare, and except for perhaps a unique collector who might specialize in them, wouldn't constitute added value on the open market.
