Smith and Wesson shield in stock

Sorry to hear that. They shipped to my FFl a couple weeks ago and I know a few other people on this forum were able to have theirs shipped too. Not sure why they have stopped doing so. Keep an eye on this forum and you will find one soon.

Thanks M&Pgurl just bought a 40 cal from them online and order went through, hope they don't come back and say so sorry. Been trying to find one at a reasonable price 439.00 great price nowdays.

Cool. Be sure to call them and have your FFL fax them your info. Hopefully it all goes through smoothly.

I have wondered that too. How is it that Kittery (which I will watch and order from them when they get more) can order hundreds at a time and a Big Box Store like Academy Sports and Outdoors can never get them in?

KTP is actually a large volume puchaser, it might not be a national chain but the have been buying large ammouns of S&W's for many years. They are celebrating 75 years this year and one would guess that your long term customers might see product first during these times, IMHO. As I stated earlier in this thread, KTP is one of the best places to shop in the North East.
Their customer support is second to none and as we have seen they are not one of the price gougers.

I hope you are able to grab one from them, they will treat you right.

LGS tranfer fees seems high around me. One wants $42.50 and the other $45. Is that reasonable or high?

I got charged $30 at my army navy store I used. Found a cheaper pawn shop charging $15 down the street after I had ordered my shield already.

In TN its money- Called at least 5 places cheapest is $35 (From Pawns to LGS)

Ouch! That is high. My gunsmith charges $10 for transfers, and there is a Pawn Shop in town that does them for free. But then the state of Nevada hits you for $25 for the Brady fee.

Yep they are very nice to deal with- called right on the dot, on the waiting list can't wait to get it.

It is a discrepancy on their website, I just called and they said they sold that this morning.

Carter's Country on Interstate 10 in Houston, Texas has two 40's and one 9mm as of last Friday (04/12/2013). $499.

Just ordered my Shield from D&L and was able to get a Ma compliant which is a challenge for we unfortunate Ma residents. Paid $439 plus shipping. The have 9's and 40's still in stock, Ma and standard.

No Non-MA 9's...
