I have a Smith Highway Patrolman, 28 no dash that somewhere in its earlier life was either nickel plated or hard chromed.
It is in great shape, good shooter, but it is time for me to move it along to a new owner. So questions:
How do you tell chrome from Nickel? I want to advertise it correctly.
I am going to sell it in Massachusetts, where I reside, as I don't want the revolver to leave the state. Gun laws here are designed to limit supply so I want it to remain here. Any idea of its value? It came with Pachmeyer grips, now has custom Hogue wood grips and it also has a set of Smith grips.
