Hello, I am considering buying a Model 66-2. It is supposed to have a trigger job, seems smooth. Will Smith go thru these guns and check them out??? Has anyone had this done?? Is the cost high?

Thanks,
Bubby

Smith and Wesson is very reasonable with their charges, in my experience. They also ship firearms back to the customer very cheaply. hth

I have this done on any used gun I buy if I have any concerns. The charges are very reasonable and they will make the mechanicals as good as new.

IMHO - Unless you're getting the gun dirt cheap you might
want to look for a pristine one - 66's aren't that rare.
