smith n wesson M&P 9mm shield

Would you tell your friend they could get one factory new for only $14 more ?
,
I think gun prices are on a downward trend , used guns will follow so what you paid will have nothing to do with the worth of it.

In my area they are still in high demand. At the best LGS they are still $400 once tax weighs in, and don't sit in the case more than a day or two.

I'm not big on buying off the internet, as I've had some really abysmal experiences.

With guns, or in general?
My first internet gun purchase was last year from Sportmans Outdoor Superstore. Lowest price anywhere at the time, free shipping and no tax, couldn't have been more pleased. About 8 country miles and a $20 bill to my local FFL and that was it.
I can't image buying in store again.
YMMV

Really??? Where??? I'd consider selling MINE for $350-$375.
That's the going rate for NIB around my area.
Used, probably more like $250-$275.
I put mine in the local classified adds for $340 plus transfer fee. sold it the first day and got multiple calls on afterwards

I'm a member of several FB gun trader pages here in the great state of Texas we can do private party sales. Used guns go for 20%-10% under retail. Of course if you sell to a pawn shop or gun store you might be lucky to get 50% of value but why in the hell would you do that?

Behind the cannabis curtain, there are clowns trying to sell their $400 Shields out here for $500. If it's one without the mag disconnect and LCI, they are asking $6-750. Unfortunately you have to do the private party transfer in person and can't simply mail it to an FFL unless it's on the "safe gun roster".
