The hammer on these bobbed..can a regular hammer be installed .if so how...

Changed out my 908 bobbed hammer with model 3913 hammer. No problems. Just needed to change out the hammer spring stirrup from the 3913 to the 908 stirrup. Here is a You Tube video as to the procedure as to how it disassembled and re-assembled. Hope this helps and good luck on finding a hammer.

Thank You for making this video . . . I purchased a spurred hammer for my Model 908 and because of your video, I was able to disassemble my gun, change the hammer, reinstall everything and it worked! I had to shorten the hammer spring stirrup by about a half-inch (I matched it up with the original hammer and used my Dremel to cut it down). Great video and everything was well explained. Saved me about $60 by doing it myself.
