Am in the market for a new Model 627 - would appreciate any leads on dealers who might have this revolver in stock.

Thanks

Had trouble finding mine in November; all LGSs told me their distributors had none with none known to be in the pipeline. Although I paid full MSRP, Gander Mountain got one for me.

Good luck, love mine.

Check the auction sites...several are listed.

Thanks for the info - question are there (2) different Model
627's? One a Pro Series model and one from the Performance Center? If there are these 2 models is there much difference in features and price?

Thanks again.

The Performance Center guns are supposed to be Smith's top of the line or semi-custom guns. Some owners do report QC issues with them, never the less. Pro Series are factory guns built with upgraded parts. There are some differences in features between the PC and Pro Series. Barrel length and sights spring to mind.

I have a 627 Pro and really like it. Having eight chambers means the cylinder doesn't have far to rotate in order to lock up.

I found a 627 pro from grabagun in October for $749. I wanted the pc, but I couldn't find one. And the 4" pro is nice, think I prefer it to the 5" pc now that I have it. I would like to get the pc hammer and trigger, if just for looks alone.

Thus far its a fantastic gun, I can't find a reason to ever sell it. Probably going to change to a hi-viz front sight and ahrends grips.

Pretty
