Snowmageddon!!!!

We got missed by this round. Caught a little sleet, but the rest of it went north. Today is setting up for cold rain, great day to stay in and watch Premiere League and NFL football, along with NCAA basketball . . .

Yep I woke up to 12 inches this Moring. Didn't even bother shoveling it just put the truck in 4 wheel drive and went over the top of it.

I was right, there were no parking spots left at the grocery store, had to pick up a prescription, and thought I would get milk while I was there, about 2:30pm. drugs weren't ready told to wait 10 minutes, (25 min later got the drugs). Went to the milk shelf and there was only 3 gal jugs of white milk on the shelves. Never saw them so bare. Check out lines were 5-6 deep. Next time I'll just skip the drugs and stay home.

I went to the store this morning and there was only one other person there, with the 12 inches we got if you didn't have a 4X4 you probably weren't going anywhere.

I just went by the market it was packed, all the college kids are back this weekend. [emoji46]

Bob, Ruthie is headed to work on I-75N. If you see a mired Honda Fit with eight white knuckles and a grey top knot sticking up over the steering wheel let me know.

You're a pal.

Most fun I have had in Utah was snowmobiling at Daniels Summit lodge. We have a work facility out there and had a half day meeting then half day team building snowmobile trip. That was really fun. I grew up riding dirt bikes in southeaster Ohio so I found it great fun. Some others had a hard time riding the switchback trails with sheer drop offs on either side. One guy was freaking out on the road in since there were no guard rails and the road was pretty snow covered. We have had about 4 inches so far here in Licking county Ohio. Wife and I are all snuggled in. She made a crock pot of chili and we are binge watching Net Flix. Unfortunately not retired yet like some got about 5 - 10 years to go .

I for one love winter and pray for snow. We are in dire need for snow again this year.

Grooming snowmobile trails is my winter job, last year we never ever fired up the snowcat and so far this year its not looking very promising. :(

Our local wx experts told us we would get 2-5" and the storm was moving so fast we might not even see it go by. Of course it snowed all day and we have about a foot. Wet and heavy stuff.

My daughter lives in Cincinnati...well Fairfield, a few miles north. She's ready to move to FL.

I saw a neighbor shoveling snow off of his car. Thankfully, it looked like a plastic shovel.

Just getting a cup of coffee, sidewalks done, cars nearly done (no garage), snowplow came by, rear deck and walks to do later on. Our little Gordon setter mix, she is not happy, 10" deep hard to get comfortable to pee. Otherwise she's okay with the snow. Lost power for about 4 hours, fire in the fireplace, oil lamps burning, listening to the Chiefs on the radio. Interesting day yesterday. Wonder when the snowplow is coming back. Guess I'll just put in all wheel drive.
