Snub .45 Colt - the Easy Way

I got this 1921 New Service with normal barrel length and a huge front sight, same one as this but I reduced it in size.

Most people that know me say that I am losing what little mind I once had but the older I get the better I like short barrel guns. How do you attach the front sight? Larry

I filed a flat about 5/16" wide on the barrel and soldered the front sight on with low temp silver solder.

I would dearly like to do a project like that one day. With a little luck Perhaps I will fall into a donor S&W or Colt one day.
