Snub nose sickness

Skyflyer, like the 10th Mtn Patch on the 1911.

Thanks, they were a gift from my ex-wife.
She had them custom made by gungrips.net.

She only gave me two good Christmas gifts during our marriage.
The first being my son. He shares my name so he says he will join the 10th Mtn. then I have to pass them on to him.

I too suffer from snub nose sickness.First there was the 640 357 Magnum, next came my instructor's Off Duty and Backup Gun a Detective Special that was Royal Blued, now I picked up a Version 2 1966 Nickel Detective Special. It is nice to be sick......God Bless...Mike

No Cure for this

I am new here...but a long time S&W snubbie fan. Right now I have a few (well more like 2 dozen). They range from a pre Model 30 (I frame) to a 460ES.

I thought when I got the 460 I would be satisified....but you know there are 500ES models just begging to be purchased.

One of my humpty-backed Model 49's is my daily carry.

However, I think the Model 15 and Model 19 represent the finest products S&W ever made.

Not much on J-frame S&W snubbies, but like almost anything else in S&W or Colt Snub Noses. Six shots is my preferred cylinder, and pardon me folks, the Colt Detective Special my favorite carry piece. My Model 19-3 in 2 1/2 inch is my next best, but a little heavy for all time undercover carry.

"I still don't own any J frames"

J frame sickness is another level..

it sure is, here's one I picked up on GB late last week...

For years, I looked on snubbies as a specialized tool: police, CC and so forth. Then I got one, a 10-5 and it opened my eyes. Here's the current stable:

Big50-1,
What model is the bottom right?
I am on a quest. I just need to learn the exact model numbers
of what I like...
Thanks!

I believe it's a Model 36 as there's usually a noticable color variation between the frame and barrel/cylinder on Airweight j-frames...
