I picked this up locally for a good price with a Burris Fastfire II and 100 rounds of ammo. Really anxious to get out and try it all out this weekend hopefully. I've never actally shot the 500, but have shot 454's numerous times, and helped with a few friends shooting one.

If you gave it to me I wouldn't shoot it, all I can say is these old bones won't handle it.

500SW

I really like that cannon, I have the same optic's on my gun and will be shooting it this weekend for the first time.

You and I think a lot alike, because I was actually considering trying the fastfire out on my TRR8 instead, as it is likely to get more use out of it.
Let us know how you like it on there, I might swap it over.

Great Gun Mike. Don't have a PC model, but it sure looks fun. Gotta be handy to have a 'handgun' that doubles as a walkin stick! Post again after you shoot er'!

Kenforu and Mclark,
What kind of optics do you have on your TRR8's? I am still thinking about a laser light combo in lieu of a red dot, but could potentially be persuaded... I love the look of that little red dot on there. I love my TRR8.

Well after fondling many different ideas and options with the TRR8, I really have to say that the fastfire would probably be what I would want on it to keep the weight and size down. I have put an aimpoint micro on there just to see how it would look, but it was kinda big for me. I also had a TLR-2 light/laser combo on there, but the on switch is so far away from your hand that it didn't work for me. Although if you had the laser sight on the TLR-2 zeroed in really good, it might ba a viable option.
