So who did what for Earth Day?

I think Earth Day is great!

It's the one day a year that as an adult, I don't have to think for myself. In fact I just turn on the TV, or the radio, or Google, or read a cereal box... and I'm told what to think.

And there are so many fun events to attend. They take me back to my happy childhood days. On top of that, I get to be with lots of people "just like me" and sing, and play games, and plant flowers! We even got to hold hands and pray to our Mother Earth.

Finally, this is the day that I.... someone who has always been a nobody... and never really done anything important... can CHANGE THE WORLD BY MYSELF!

That's what everybody told me... from the TV down to the cereal box! Yup, I CAN DO IT... because I want to believe!

And guess what, it's only 363 days until I get to be somebody again. Woohoo!!!!!

I burned up a bunch of dinosaurs on a strictly pleasure oriented motorcycle cruise with a pre EPA V twin.

I delighted in the awsome acceleration of the stump grinding powerplant as I smoked several Pious.. er.. Prius pilots who took it on themselves to attempt to cut me off so I might drive 5 ~ 10 mph below the posted speed.

I observed all posted speed limits, but I got there a mite quicker than normal.

I was able to refuel twice.

I burned a few tires, cut down a few trees and dumped some old 55 gal drums full of oily sludge in the creek. After all that work was done I got out the muzzy and shot the 50 cal smoke pole.
