When I first got back into guns 7 or 8 years ago, I bought several milsurp pistols from them. Always a good experience. Too bad.

This has been discussed on a few websites I belong to. And the general consesus is that they are shutting down. Might have to do with so few mil surp rifles and pistols coming in from overseas. Can't sell them if none to sell. Frank

I'M VERY SAD TO LEARN OF THIS. I MADE MANY PURCHASES FROM SOG, BACK IN THE DAY. I WAS ALWAYS WELL SATISFIED WITH THE CONDITION OF THEIR GUNS, THEIR PRICES, AND THEIR SERVICE.......

THEY WILL BE MISSED IN THE MARKETPLACE.......

Meh, their ordering process was a hassle and thier website sucked. If you can't streamline online ordering in this day and age, you just aren't gonna make it. If they had modernized a bit and offered more free shipping sales, they would've been a staple in the market.

I swear, I should open a consulting business for online gun stores or even those looking to break in. It's not rocket science. It just seems many owners are antiquated and out of touch with what will get people to buy from them.

It's easy to be a consultant.
But there's a whole lot of risk involved with putting up personal and borrowed funds to start a brick & mortar or online gun shop.

Since getting my C&R I bought a few pistols and a couple of rifles. All were easy transactions and the guns better than expected. I'm thinking some thing political is forcing them out. Sad...

Sad to hear it, bought several guns through them in the past few years and all transactions were very good. Last gun I bought from them was a police trade in P220 last October. Excellent gun at a steal of a price, nearly new.

They will be missed.
